		Render Expert
		-------------

DeskArtes Render Expert is designed for anyone needing to generate high quality
renderings from 3D CAD data. It enables you to display, smooth render, rotate, 
zoom, pan and print CAD data. It also allows you to generate photograhpic 
images with ExTrace ray-tracing software. 

Render Expert can input STL, IGES, VDA-FS and DXF files.

		System requirements
		---------------------

General:

- PC with Intel Pentium/PII/PIII/PIV or AMD Athlon/AthlonXP processor

Operating System:

- Windows 95/98/NT4/2000/XP

Memory: 

- minimum 256 MB
- recommended 512 MB

Graphics:

- minimum resolution 800x600 with 16-bit colors
- recommended at least 24-bit colors and a graphics card which supports OpenGL
- graphics cards based on ATI Radeon or NVidia GeForce chipsets recommended

Other:

- Internet Explorer 4 (or higher) needed to view help files

		Installation instructions
		-------------------------

1. Copy the self extracting package "dare71.exe" to your hard disk.

2. Start the installation by double clicking "dare71.exe". Press "Finish" to
   continue the installation or "Cancel" to quit.

3. Read the copyright text and the license agreement carefully before continuing.

4. Select the Directory where you want the software to be installed, use "Typical" 
   setup type and accept the default Program Group. 

5. The setup is completed. Select "Launch DeskArtes Render Expert" to launch the 
   program, and "Finish" to quit.
