3Data Expert 9.0 new features

The 3Data Expert version 9.0 includes several improvements and new commands for more efficient 3D model handling:

• Faster postprocessing of boolean based operations (Boolean, Apply Texture, Sketch Edge Line, Split, Connect, Drain Hole) for more efficient model preparation
• New Cut Tool and Hole Tool commands for complicated cuts and holes with tapered plugs
• New Triangle Edit with corner edit mode (keeps the topology while moving corner points) and more flexible eye point rotation   
• Locate Errors with Delete button to delete the error triangles easily
• Multiselection for Hollow and Extrude from Surface commands for faster hollowing and adding thickness to several surfaces at once for architectural repair
• Improved Hollow and Offset for thinner hollowing wall thicknesses and smoother surfaces with colors and textures
• PLY input and output with the ability to refine and convert textures into vertex color values for reliable texture color transfer during file Save As (applies to VRML output too).
• Improved VRML input and output for better handling for GIS models
• MAC address based licensing to use existing license after system reinstall
• Grid icon in Viewing Toolbar for easy access to grid and it settings
• Latest version ProE, UG, Catia and STEP converters with Import Package
• 3D Model Projected area calculation on XY plane for simulation applications and several other improvements
