DeskArtes Spectral Expert - Easy STL and VRML editing for 3D color printing and animation. VRML file output has become increasingly popular with different CAD packages due to its simplicity and capability of showing textures and colors on 3D models. For example, VRML data can be used with the 3D color printer form Z Corporation or with different animation software packages. Splitting 3D models to fit into the build area of a 3D printer is an important function for the 3D printer users. DeskArtes Spectral Expert combines easy to use STL and VRML texturing tools with efficient repair and splitting tools for 3D printing!

With Spectral Expert you can also convert VRML data from different 3D color geometry scanners for Z Corporation 3D color printers. If you are using a non color 3D printer, like Stratasys Dimension, we recommend Dimensions Expert.

DeskArtes Spectral Expert - repairing, splitting and editing VRML and STL files easily.

Spectral Expert includes all necessary and easy to use tools to get from any STL or VRML model to a buildable STL/VRML part, regardless of small errors or need of textures or size of the final part. Model verification tools tell you if the model is correct or not. In case of errors, automatic and manual repair tools can be used to fix them. After fixing the splitting tools can be used to cut the model into a suitable sized pieces for your machine build area. Positioning tools can be used to position the parts into wanted build areas. Models can be textured, textures can be removed or added into a model before sending them to the 3D color printer from Z Corporation.
