Microscribe interface for Design Expert

Package: This package enables the Microscribe 3DX 3d-pointing device interface for DeskArtes Design Expert. With the Microscribe 3DX device and this interface you can input 3D curve control points from real world objects. The resulting curves can then be used to create surfaces with the Design Expert "Surface->Skin"-command.

Installation:

1. Download the mscribe.zip upgrade package.
2. Extract the contents of the zip-package to the installation directory of the DeskArtes Design Expert to add the DLL "armdll32.dll".

Using the interface: When DeskArtes Design Expert finds the Microscribe interface in startup, the following new commands are added to the Curve menu:

• Microscribe input
• Microscribe workarea
• Microscribe settings

Program versions: The Microscribe interface is supported in DeskArtes Design Expert 5.0, 5.1, 5.2 and 5.3
