| 1. Question: Why do I get a download page of a wrong program version ? |

| Answer: To speed up the transfer of the pages several levels of so called cache storages are used in the Internet www, starting from the disk and memory caches of the browser program. The idea with the caches is to keep a copy of a page near the user where it can be loaded faster than from its real storage, if the user wants to load the same page again. When the original page is changed it will however take some time until the caches are updated to have the new contents. So it is possible that you still get old version of a page from cache storages, even if there is a new version already available from the original storage. In these cases you can try to clear the cache storages of your browser and use the browser "reload"-command. The cache clear commands can be found in the following places in different browsers: Mozilla Firefox 2.0: Tools->Clear Private Data: Cache Mozilla Firefox 1.5: Tools->Options: Privacy: Cache: Clear Cache Now Internet Explorer 6: Tools->Internet Options: General: Temporary Internet Files: Delete Files Netscape 7: Edit->Preferences: Advanced: Cache: Clear Disk Cache / Clear memory Cache Similar commands should be found in other browsers too. |
| 2. Question: I cannot successfully download the software. What can I do ? |

| Answer: If the download page asking the information about the downloader seems not to work properly, you can try to download the installation packages from their direct package links. | 3. Question: Downloading takes too long. Can I get the software on a CD ? |

| Answer: If the download package is too big to be easily downloaded trough your Internet connection, or you cannot for some other reason download the installation package, you can get the software on a CD. Just e-mail your mailing address to da@deskartes.fi and you will receive a CD by mail. |
